About PERC

Our Animal Hospital in Palm Beach Gardens

At Pet Emergency and Referral Center we love what we do. While emergency and specialty care is high paced and often high stress, we are proud to be there for animal patients and their worried human family members in times of need. Our staff members have many years of experience in various fields of veterinary medicine and come from all parts of the country, and the world for that matter, which brings many viewpoints, bits of knowledge, and techniques all together for a more complete and knowledgeable care-taking center. We strive to offer you and your pets the best possible medical and surgical care while maintaining affordable prices. We are a FULL service veterinary medical and surgical center with all the necessary facilities and equipment to treat any emergency disease or injury and nearly all surgical ailments.

24/7 Emergency Pet Care

Keep in mind, while we want to provide you with the most complete and convenient veterinary care, we are not a substitute for your family's primary care veterinarian and we work in conjunction with your primary care veterinarian to provide complete healthcare for your pets. Vaccinations, microchipping, dental procedures, spaying and neutering, and preventative medicine are services we do not offer and you will need to see your primary care veterinarian for these very important aspects of healthcare for your pet. In addition, most follow-up after discharge from the E.R. is done with your primary care veterinarian. Follow-up from our other services such as surgery will typically be done here at PERC but will be discussed with each pet owner at time of discharge. In any case, if you have any questions or doubts as to whether or not your dog or cat requires a visit to our facility, we are always happy to receive your phone call and answer any questions you may have and coach you as to what the next best step would be for your pet.
