Margot Hirsch
Dr. Margot Hirsch was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and later moved to South Florida, where she decided warm weather suited her best. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida.
During her time working at a specialty hospital during COVID, Dr. Hirsch discovered her passion for emergency medicine and has dedicated her career to the field ever since. She is Fear Free Shelter certified and has completed certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy through the Hyperbaric Veterinary Institute. Her professional interests include emergency surgery, trauma cases, and wound care.
At home, Dr. Hirsch shares her home with her miniature poodle mix, Watson, and her cat, Newt. Outside of the hospital, she spends much of her free time at the farm with her horses. She enjoys spending time with her young filly, Andi, and caring for her miniature horse, Trixie, along with her retired childhood pony, Tootsie.
